INTERNAL MODULAR RAMPS
The internal modular ramp is available in various lengths, widths, heights, and configurations to suit various indoor spaces, including marquees, car parks, halls, schools, and hospitals.
Furthermore, our site surveyors utilise lidar scanning technology, which has proven helpful for internal ramp projects. This technology scans and maps the dimensions of objects within its field of view, such as drain covers, ground slopes, flooring, ceilings, pillars, and overhead beams.
This allows for the creation of precise designs that navigate around these obstacles, ensuring the calculation of sufficient headroom between the ceiling and ramp height.
For secure installation, the ramp feet can be screwed down to the floorboards. Alternatively, rubber pads can be affixed to the feet.

Ensuring Adherence to Building Regulations for Internal Ramps
Internal ramps may need to comply with building regulations, including a minimum width and the recommended gradient outlined in Part M and K Regulations. Moreover, maintaining a minimum head height of 2.1 meters between the pitch line and ceiling is essential.
Guidance on accessibility within buildings is detailed in British Standards, specifically BS8300-2:2018 Part 2: Buildings Code of Practice.
The guidelines for internal ramps closely parallel those for external ramps and steps, covering aspects such as gradients and handrails.
